Eastern Library

We build a material and intellectual basis for dialogue between the neighbors -- Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Lithuania... on the issues of dividing historical memory. We do it by collecting sources (historical documentation), as well as a wide range of out-of-censorship publications of the opposition, fighting for democratic changes in their countries. Our task is to preserve these materials, explore them academically as well as by the means of arts, and make them available. We do our best to create Eastern library -- both paper and digital archive, which can be freely used by scholars from all countries on site (conferences participants, research fellows) and online.(https://dlibra.karta.org.pl/bw/dlibra)).
